The Department of Doors
The Department of Doors is a Troika! pamphlet adventure mostly consisting of tables to help you generate an interesting adventure. Improvisation and interpretation by the GM required.
The Department of Doors (DoD) issues high-quality doors all over the city. An open secret is that every door issued by the department has a backdoor. A way for them to access the door from a centralized location. Walking through a door in DoD deep storage allows you to exit through its twin, wherever it is in the city.
The Department of Doors deep storage unit. Here each backdoor to department-issued doors is stored. Rails carry doors on hooks from one area to the next. Stacks of discarded or rarely used doors are seen everywhere. Sounds of what is happening behind the thousands of doors from all directions. It is a maze, many people, even DoD employees, have been known to get lost here.
You gained access to deep storage through a backdoor someone opened for you from inside the department and are standing in between thousands and thousands of doors. What are you here for and how does it go? Find out!
